Dozy Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Dozy is an app developed by 3Devs to calculate sleep times, suggest the best time to wake up, and let you set alarms on your own device.

2. Data Dozy handles

Dozy was built to work without registration, login, or collection of sensitive personal data. The app may save information locally on your device that is needed for your experience:

• language selected in the app;
• preferred time format, such as 24h or AM/PM;
• number of selected sleep cycles;
• time and state of the active alarm when you configure one.

This information is used to keep your preferences and make the alarm work correctly. It stays on your device and is not sold by 3Devs.

3. Permissions used by the app

Some permissions may be requested by Android so Dozy can perform its main alarm function:

• Notifications: to show the alarm when it rings.
• Exact alarms: to schedule the alarm at the time you set.
• Vibration, wake lock, and full screen: to get your attention when the alarm rings.
• Do Not Disturb access and audio settings: to allow the alarm to ring reliably when you grant that permission.
• Device startup: to help preserve alarms after device restarts when applicable.
• Internet: a common technical permission in React Native apps. Dozy does not depend on accounts, ads, or analytics for its main function.

Dozy does not request access to camera, contacts, location, microphone, or personal files to work.

4. Sharing with third parties

In the operation described above, Dozy does not sell personal data and does not share your sleep preferences with advertisers. If a future version uses external services that process data, this policy will be updated before or alongside the relevant change.

5. Retention and deletion

Local preferences remain on the device while the app is installed or until you clear the app data in Android settings. When you uninstall Dozy, the app's local data is removed by the operating system.

6. Children and teenagers

Dozy is not specifically directed to children and does not request registration, name, email, location, or other personal data from minors. If you believe any personal information was sent improperly, please contact us.

7. Security

We follow a minimization approach: the app avoids collecting data that is not needed to calculate sleep and ring alarms. Even so, no system is completely risk-free, especially when it depends on the operating system, permissions, and device settings.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect new features, legal requirements, or app adjustments. The update date at the top of this page will indicate the most recent version.
